My first Gameboy mod.

My wife pointed me in the direction of an estate sale a little while ago as there was a Gameboy DMG & Color listed for about $20.
The DMG isn’t a tough rebuild as long as you’re using the updated screen main board. Only two wires for the speaker need to be soldered, the rest is all ribbon cables and screws. My first attempt had a really poorly aligned screen because of a rogue piece of plastic on the top of the shell, but some wirecutters and a file cleared that right up.
Unfortunately it picked up some ink stains under the display from something on the third day. Threw some stickers on it to cover it up.
