A holiday gift for one of my closest friends.

The Gameboy modding adventure reminded me of the perfection that was the DMG (and pocket and color to some extent). It just feels good in the hand. I think the Switch and Steam Deck are fantastic devices but we’ve made our portables gradually less portable in the pursuit for performance.

But then came the Advance. This might be the ultimate handheld for me.

The alignment on this one isn’t perfect (thanks to a frustrating mismatch between shell and screen) but I got it pretty close. Plus - let’s just say my consoles have unlimited warranty, no questions asked… its fun working on em!
